By taking techno deep into the mine shafts of dub, they've created an eerie, full-circle variant of the latter. A cauterized, dreadnaught bassline and steady hi-hats propel Tikiman's fragmented vocals on 'Spend Some Time.' What's odd about this number is how you're drawn into the music and effects, but unlike a lot of dub plates, there aren't any friendly reminders of melody.
