"An undisputed rude joint from Leeds' Sarantis kicking off Black Acre's new vehicle for wild dancehall and dubstep. After a string of releases for Senseless and Subsonik recordings including the ace collabs with Warrior Queen, his production skills have come on leaps and bounds, cumulating in the knowing dancehall suss of 'meditate'. Sarantis brews up a deadly concoction from ragga vocal snippets and a dancefloor winning bassline for one of his best efforts to date. 'Vendetta' on the flip showcases the nastier end of Sarantis' style, using some raw drum machine patterns and a growling synthline to great effect. A big 12" with everyone from N-Type to headhunter.
