Back to funky business for Sharon Jones - her best single in years, and a nitty gritty groover that has some great JBs-like touches on the horns and rhythms! The groove here is totally great - more 70s funk than some of the late 60s-styled work of earlier years - and flowing out with sinister snaking guitar part that always keeps the track somewhat unsettled - still plenty funky, but with a really mean edge underneath the wicked vocals! "Money Don't" is an instrumental take on the same tune - but with some even better sax work from The Dap-Kings!
