From the outer limits of the planet (well, Berlin to be precise), two tracks of techno reinforced steppers backed with a stunning remix inversion from Clark! The lead cut is a bit of killer, precipitating the Ann Peebles sample - 'Can't Stand The Rain' famously used by Missy Elliott - over cataclysmic technoid production, all pneumatic snares, restless kicks and noxious clouds of concrete atmospheric dust. Perhaps it is a bit faster than your average dubstep track but that's what the pitch control is for, right? 'Return Of The Sun' hurls out a nastier halfstep lean on the flip, built with dramatically dynamic drops and impressive Vex'd style sound design. Finally Clark offers his superior remix, inverting 'Can't Stand The Rain' as a piece of piano and electronics sounding like something Akira Rabelais or Goldmund might have knocked up on a moody monday afternoon.
