It's been a good few years since Vladislav Delay made his Sistol debut for the influential Phthalo imprint, and after a long hiatus the label celebrates its return with this first release on its new sub-label Halo Cyan. The first two remixes are are just immense - with Carsten Nicolai rolling out another pristine and robust Alva Noto construction, while FaltyDL continues to push his game into ever more impressive territory with a low-end shuffler that re-wires dub signatures into a frazzled percussive stepper that just owns this release. John Tejada and [a]pendics.shuffle command the rest of the EP with straighter dancefloor wares, with the former making use of a bouncy 4/4 template and the latter keeping it Minimal and crunchy.
