2020 repress, originally released in 2017. Skinshape is the project of one William Dorey. On Life & Love, his third album, the Brit makes gloriously lo-fi sounding funk and soul. Somehow finds the mid points between the likes of Jungle and Khruangbin, in that Dorey manages to be both silky smooth and somewhat experimental and playful.
