Things kick off on the A side with "Mesdames Yo", which draws on the traditional Compas sounds of Haitan band Les Difficiles de Petion-Ville's and injects a signature bump up, serious chopping and lots of dubbing action for a psychedelic dance re-interpretation. Next, "Baila Oshun" borrows vocals from Haitian/New Orleans jazz band Les Hombres Calientes with chugging, late night original production on top from the Sol Power crew. "Afrika Afrika" touches Senegalese Afro-disco band Black Soul's tune of the same name and brings it way up with a thumping 4/4 and rising percussion on top, while "Night In Tunisia" wraps things up with a dubby, thumping house tribute to Hugh Masekala."
