Based in Tokyo, Southpaw Chop has been active as a producer and DJ for years, independently releasing vinyl featuring MCs from Hip Hop’s golden era, such as Tragedy Khadafi, Kool G Rap, Craig G, Diamond D, AG, and Large Professor. This EP brings together five of these releases, previously available only in limited seven inch vinyl pressings, plus a bonus remix of “Laced With Tragedy feat. Tragedy Khadafi [Funky Soul Brother Remix]" by the unit Funky Soul Brother, comprised of Southpaw Chop and DJ Koco aka Shimokita.
