limited to 300 - A fantastic bit of psychedelic funk from the Finnish scene – maybe one of the weirdest and wildest records that we've heard from that part of the world in years – and they're definitely known for giving us some pretty wild albums! Core funk elements are mixed with all sorts of cool effects and offbeat production – so that the keyboards, guitar lines, and horn parts often almost sound otherworldly – while the rhythms are still more than forward-moving enough to keep things funky! The ensemble's usual cleanliness is upended for hard-clipped crunch and harmonic bleed, as the usual jazz frenzy benefits an extra, almost unfair hallucinogenic share, from the thalamic ungating of 'Moss Perception' to the stately dromal drones of 'Foraging Berries'.
