random colored vinyl version, looks like the ones we got are on blue/black vinyl - Since the release of Move Upstairs, the first album featuring the Como Mamas backed by musical accompaniment (via The Glorifiers Band), the reigning royalty of Como Mississippi have been touring extensively, sharing their bluesy, soulful brand of Gospel with fans all over the world. On a break from one of their recent trips, Della Daniels, lead for The Como Mamas, sent an urgent message to Producer, and Glorifiers Band bass player, Bosco Mann. In this message she declared that she is sick with spirit about Hold On To God's Unchanging Hand - a traditional track recorded during the Move Upstairs session. She said the Holy Ghost won't leave her alone about this song, and that she really needs to share the recording with the world. Luckily for us...the greater Daptone family...Bosco Mann concurred, and with a stroke of genius, doubled down, suggesting they include another unreleased track from the session, their arrangement of the Fred McDowell masterpiece, “You've Go To Move”. The call was made and Daptone has answered with these two sanctimonious sides on one slab-o righteous wax. You will be hard-pressed to find a finer fort-five.
