From first track - title track Patio - until closing track Usøvn, you’re on an ever-changing trip that may seem familiar and comfortable at first glance but do offer unexpected derailments. The Hug’s 12-track debut album Patio spans from beautiful and (somewhat) tangible tunes like Blue Amber and Adult to unsettling and hypnotic sentiments on tracks like Challenger and Than.

Most parts on the album are handplayed and processed in the studio on synthesizers, drum machines, loopers, tape machines, stompboxes etc. And many parts stems from old sketches and field recordings captured at various locations in Denmark, Germany, and Spain.
