2024 Record Store Day Black Friday release - Cocktails Sees Its First Commercial Vinyl Release For RSD Black Friday. The Double LP Is Presented In A Ultra-Clear Opaque BlueJay & Silver Splatter Colored Vinyl Pressing Housed In A Deluxe Gatefold Jacket With A Full-Color OBI Strip.
Too $hort dropped Cocktails in January of 1995. By February of that year – the release had moved over 100,000 copies hitting the number six slot on the Billboard Top 200. The record went on to platinum status by the end of the year.
Guests include MC Breed, The Dangerous Crew, and the album’s producer Ant Banks as well as Tupac Shakur. Amazingly Cocktails has never seen a commercial vinyl issue. Get On Down rectifies that oversite on RSD Black Friday with an exclusive colored vinyl reissue with the double LP housed in a gatefold jacket and topped off with a collectible OBI.
