Applepips return with two plush productions from Trevino aka Marcus Intalex. A-side 'Indulge' synchs electroid percussion and brooding synth stabs with nods to classic Drexciya and E.R.P. but on a stiffer, grid-locked sort of roll. Flipside, the pensile strings and militant snares of the intro to 'Under Surveillance' hark back to classic mid-late '90s D&B from Optical et al, but soon turns into a taut 130bpm stepper comparable with Martyn's recent styles on Brainfeeder.A Indulge AA Under Surveillance
