Untold - Change In A Dynamic Environment Ep #3 - 12" Vinyl

Untold's 'Change In A Dynamic Environment' series adopts a drier, motorik stance on its mighty third edition. Bearing no small resemblance to the Technoid Post Punk styles on Powell's two Diagonal 12"s, 'Kane' work desiccated kick drums with sludged, darkside D&B synths and heaving subs, but the production is more hi-fi, the rawness more conceited and stabilised. Again, the likeness of frictional Industrial textures and workshopped guitar chops on 'Overdrive' is uncanny, but Jack Dunning's manicured studio values betray its provenance and big room-ready ambition.
