2015 Record Store Day release. Last year, Hyperdub and leading Chicago footwork crew Teklife came together for Next Life, a 20-track charity compilation dedicated to the memory of the late-great DJ Rashad. Originally released as a CD, Next Life will be reissued on triple silver vinyl for Record Store Day, with proceeds again going to Rashad's son. Next Life included previously-unreleased material from DJ Rashad; footwork heavyweights DJ Spinn, RP Boo, Traxman, Manny and Gantman; newer names like DJ Earl, Taye and Boylan; and Chicago outsiders like Durban, Tripletrain, DJ Paypal and more.
