The good folks over the border at Wireblock have compiled their first compilation 12" featuring smart dancefloor electronics from Alex Cortex, Bogger, the heavily tipped Ghosts On Tape and Glasgow's own Truffle Club. Each track is designed to work the floor it's own unique way, from Cortex's raw analogue jam on 'Reminisce' sounding like Dexter getting rowdy with Mark Bell or Bogger's Modeselektor-ish IDM techno on the A-side for the jacking crew, to the B-side treats of Truffle Club's slashing Secondo-style disco edit on 'She Made Me' or GoT's hyper modified reggaeton rinser 'Mogadishu Night Life' for the slick wrigglers, there's enough to keep the most attention deficit dancer pinned to the groove.
