2025 reissue - More than 50 years after its original release, Willie Colón’s Asalto Navideño album, featuring Héctor Lavoe on vocals and Yomo Toro on cuatro guitar, is still considered the top Latin holiday album. Named one of the “50 Greatest Salsa Albums of All Time” by Rolling Stone in 2024, the set is filled with joyful tunes like “La Murga,” “Aires de Navidad” and the ever-popular medley “Popurrí Navideño.” This reissue features all-analog mastering from the original tapes and is pressed on 180-gram vinyl.
