Affinity - Don't Go Away - 12" Vinyl

All about the Runaway dub, which utilises heavy dub effects and a strong Compass Point/ Island Records sound. Such a deep, dark boogie bassline and a superlative mix from Mark Kamins who around the time of 1983 had hit paydirt by recently discovering a young lady by the name by Madonna Louise Ciccone. This record remains a serious dub for the heads that for sheer outer space sounds is difficult to beat. The second half of the tune is basically bonkers with all sorts of echo and delay going off. Still being played out by the likes of Metro Area. And me. Forever.
