Idle Hands present the buttoned-up TechnoHouse swing of Alex Coulton on their tenth release. He's previously shared a platter with Szare for Sydrome Z and dropped a blink-and-miss-it 12" for All Caps, but this is his highest profile drop to date. Both sides are built for frisky basement action, propelled by overlarge subs within a shifty Techno-House framework. 'Candy Flip' revolves around a nagging square bass hook and powerful, spherical subs, while 'Brooklyn' plays it cooler with convective chords and a deft groove syncing shake-out hi-hats with robust toms and padded bass pressure. Fans of Kowton or Andy Mac should definitely check this!A Candy Flip B Brooklyn
