Álvaro S. S. & His Jamming Sessions is a Latin Ska project led by Mexican bass player Álvaro Sosa. As Álvaro usually says “Álvaro S.S. project focuses on latin grooves, it is the style I feel comfortable with, it’s got a natural warmness that combines perfectly with Ska music. This is a part of us, our culture, our way of life, the way of enjoying music and, specially, Ska Music". There is no expiry date, Álvaro pretends to keep recording music, doing more collaborations, delivering fresh stuff and taking this music to the stages. Liquidator Music presents this Álvaro Sosa Sánchez brand new album featuring ten songs with the Latin-Jamaican spirit. Jamaican music was influenced by Cuban immigration during last century’s first decades and Ska music would have never been born without the Cuban influence.
