Antennae are Miami-based emcee Stres alongside producers Manuvers and Induce. Antennae specialise in deep melodious, funky hip hop with a serious political message to make in the style of this label's prior output. A true 2005 update of what KRS-One coined hip hop edutainment. 'Destroy This' is an incredible track featuring Stres' vocals flowing like a hot knife through chocolate but there the sweetness ends, the words carry a heavy intent, a polemic against racism of all kinds. Plus this track has one of the flyest sample hook lines in recent times. Lovers of deep hip-hop instrumental music will find much to snack on here as well, as the instrumentals reveal even more the music's update of Pete Rock's classic early nineties output with a touch of Kanye's genius in the mix.
