The third Bell 12" on the brilliant Soul Jazz imprint delivers two more of their robotic funk electroid cuts. `Black Helicopters' is a low down groover, analogue synths adorn the fat drums, with a brilliant sub bass generating serious low end rumble in perfect sync to the beats. Bell have a superb understanding of structure, and how not to put too much or too little in the mix, the flip `Slide Out Wide' is a good representation of this. Classic 808 beats lead the way, with a funked up bassline and cheeky little samples that lead to the Japanese Kraftwerk style melodies that start the track proper, ace electro biznizz.
