Bizzy B, master of the Amen, returns to Planet Mu with a retrospective featuring twelve of his ultimate classic plates from back in the day ('92-'94) plus two unreleased tracks from the same period. This collection documents hardcore's transformation into jungle. Hip-house breaks speed up into hyperkinetic trills and mangled rave-hoovers perform demented riffs the likes of which have not been heard since. This is strange and brutal music. Listeners may recognize these tracks from pirates and raves, but they rarely made it onto the safer jungle CD compilations around at the time. Since 1992, Bizzy B has released 12-inches on White House and One Nation, as well as his own Brain Records. In the last few years, his Science EP series on Planet Mu spawned a resurgence in his popularity among young ravers, ensuring continuous DJ dates around Europe that include recent headlining slots at the Bloc Festival and Bangface Weekender.
