A brilliant debut from Praveen Sharma under the Braille alias for Friends of Friends. After making a name for himself as half of Sepalcure with Machinedrum, as well as a string of solo releases as Braille turned in for Rush Hour, Hot Flush and Glass Table this LP is a shift in focus for the New Yorker. Tuning his attention more to songwriting and composition rather than just floor-filling production, ethereal and emotive vocal spots are brought in by the likes of Angelica Bess and Jesse Boykins III. Sharma’s production ranges from the melodious rattle of The Cat's Gone Nuts to the synth-laden cloudiness of Everyone’s Crazy. An exciting and rewarding debut full length.
