indie-exclusive version with additional photocard - In this EP, CORTIS changes their sound, becoming mature and rebellious compared to their playfully youthful debut EP, Colour Outside the Lines. Their GREENGREEN EP cover shows an older and vintage style. Everything from their fashion to their sound and concept takes direction from ‘90s Britpop bands. But there’s also inspiration from Britcore’s fast-paced and aggressive sound. In interviews, CORTIS has cited Oasis and Blur as main inspirations. There’s an intriguing crossover mash-up of K-pop, Britpop, and Britcore. But what’s most surprising is how CORTIS’ sound evolves. They no longer want to be seen as youthful rookies but as mature artists who adopt a more western sound – ‘blurring’ the lines between British and Korean music.
