Once upon a time in deepest underground Los Angeles there was a crew called Unity Committee. This crew grew in strength to spawn 2 separate and distinctly different acts - Jurassic Five, and now Dark Leaf. Inspired by Sun Ra, Chick Corea, and Jimi Hendrix, the sound of Dark Leaf is intense and chaotic hip hop proppelled by disjointed beats. ?
