Two of Finland's most respected house music producers, Jori Hulkkonen and Tuomas Salmela, get together for their Get Physical debut. Discemi combines Jori's love of deep, melodic techno and house with Tuomas' tracky, electrohouse grooves. The title track starts the EP in tough mode, powered by a prowling bassline and tight claps, with scary metallic techno rhythms. "Silver Ghost" still has a moody, mysterious feeling, but its bleepy, electronic bass is more groovy and chugs along to the sound of sweet, chiming melodies. Close your eyes and imagine the bumping funk of underground Chicago with the evocative hooks of European trance and you're close to the sound of "The Deepity Pt. 2.
