Already connected through the DWG crew out of the UK, Slice Of Spice had already heard the tracks off DJ Format's new LP "Statement Of Intent" (distributed on vinyl in the US by SOS) long before its release. Knowing the impact the Edan and Mr. Lif tracks would make as a single a prolonged period of what can only be described as "pestering" Matt took place, and eventually a deal was struck after a meeting in London late last year. From that moment a limited edition 10" was put into the SOS works with Mr. Krum at the design helm, who has already produced an incredible cover for the album.
