2020 reissue as part of the Blue Note Tone Poet series - this 1962 album which was the only time ELLINGTON, MINGUS & MAX ROACH played together as a trio, produced by ALAN DOUGLAS later famous for working with JIMI HENDRIX. It's a high point in the careers of all three and is considered a landmark in modern jazz.
