It looks like Planet Mu may have prolific character on their hands in Drew Lustman aka Falty Dl, following up his 3 month old full length debut with another mini-LP of restless garage influenced electronica. The concatenated syncopations of 'Made Me Feel So Right' open up with a fusion of Burial-esque soul and Autechre-affected processing, before the sensually slow 'Mother Beam' strikes hazy Rhodes chords and slanted hiphop drums like Mike Slott reworking Actress. The title track may rely a little too heavily on complex IDM functions to keep any cohesive danceability, but the abstractly jazzy 'Tronman' pulls us back from the brink with a trick-funked rhythmic workout pulling itself in many directions at once. The mutant concoction of NY funk guitar and hyperactive programming on 'Pressure' will directly appeal to any fans of Planet Mu's breakcore/electronica artists, while the acid/rhodes interplay of 'Discant' should only be approached by those of steady disposition, lest it gives rhythmic vertigo to any foolhardy participants.
