On the new album, Flux Pavilion takes purposeful strides away from his traditional head-banging filth to bring forth fresh instrumentals, experimental beats, future bass soundscapes, and captivating vocals. From beginning to end, .wav will have listeners on the edge of their seat and at the fully lost within their own feelings as he masterfully rides the waves of his inspiration and builds upon multiple sub-genres of dance music.
"The idea is that a WAV is a high fidelity audio file, kind of like vinyl. And this music, it feels like it’s Flux Pavilion but upgraded, like I used to be an MP3, and the quality of my work didn’t matter so much. But 90% of the synths on this album are all analog, and I was really paying attention to the sound and to the tone of everything. Feels like I was personally upgraded and my sound." - Flux Pavilion
