Bristol's Glume and Phossa join the Subaltern roster with their massive debut split EP. "IMHK" is a collaborative effort, it packs a punch and shows a lot of love for the details. Setting the eerie vibe of the release straight off the bat, "IMHK" is surprisingly refreshing and will light up any dancefloor. "Shriek" guides you into the dungeon and deep underground. Glume's solo piece on the EP delivers pulsating bass waves accentuated by tonal percussion lines, embedded into a horror-movie-like atmosphere. On "Deathly Stare", Phossa showcases some of his signature style synth lines embedded in an ever-creeping atmosphere.
