This is Hrdvsion's third Wagon Repair release. Taking influence from the unrestrained creativity of luminaries such as Squarepusher and Aphex Twin, Hrdvsion's disjointed compositions stand in stark contrast to the more fluid output of his brother, Mathew Jonson. "Playing For Keeps" is centered around swinging, crunching beats, "Playing For Daddy's Girl" introduces distorted 8-bit melodies, a throbbing deep bass, and a sampled cheering audience. The Mole transforms "Playing For Keeps" into pure house -- a dark electro sweat fest.
