Ital Tek (not to be confused with Ital, now also rather confusingly signed to Planet Mu) returns with his first EP in a while, delving head-first into the label's righteous footworking path. "Gonga" opens the set with a nicely syncopated percussive flex, with transposed, cascading tablas intensifying the rhythmic pressure while stabs and bass drops add the requisite bass weight. "Pixel Haze" is a more multicoloured and Zombyfied affair while "Cobalt" deploys a percolated drumloop for that intensely un-formulaic jukin' vibe. A subtle Mu-Ziq re-work of 'Gonga' closes the EP and intensifies the pressure with some quick-spliced vocal edits and a more broken arrangement.
