For Holding Hands chief Desert Sound Colony, dark, eyes down, bass heavy grooves are his first love when it comes to electronic music. He created a label with a slightly deeper angle to accommodate this sort of thing named Holding Hands Submerged. Previous EPs have come from Yosh and Mariin, and this one comes from Washington D.C. based James Bangura - who presented an awesome EP on Mister Saturday Night earlier this year. For The People features another collection of off-kilter cuts by the rising producer: from the introspective dub house of the title track, to the contorted techno/bass hybrid of 'Target Velocity' or the hypnotising post dubstep antics of 'What Happened To Us All'.
