Born in Los Angeles California, Georgia's jazz roots stemmed from her parents. Her father, Ronald Muldrow, an accomplished multi-instrumentalist best known for his work with Eddie Harris. Her mother, Rickie-Byars Beckwith, singer/ songwriter composer who served as lead singer for Pharoah Sanders Ensemble, Roland Hanna, Howard Johnson & The New York Jazz Quartet. Her early influences lead her to start writing, composing and playing instruments before reaching the early age of 10. Georgia would later move to New York after graduating high school to attend the New School's Jazz program where she met fellow musicians Robert Glasper & Bilal, both of which she continues to work with."
