K-Def is back with a vengeance. Following up no less than three recently sold-out vinyl releases towards the later half of 2011 ("For Def's Sake" 7', "Supa Heath" Flexi Disc & "Year Of The Hip-Hop" 12'), along with back to back appearances in XXL Mag's reputable "Chairman's Choice" column, the New Jersey native is looking to maximize his impact by releasing an EP/LP entitled Night Shift.
Night Shift features two vocal tracks (including a song with Rob O of INI/Pete Rock fame) alongside a solid batch of elaborate and masterfully crafted instrumentals/covers. Once you hear the music, it'll be hard to deny the impressive sound and powerful arrangements achieved by K-Def, who in addition to being a producer also happens to be a respected audio engineer & DJ.
