Ellen Allien's awesome Bpitch label rolls out one of its big gest releases yet courtesy of Canadian talent Kero, who disp lays a knack for delivering funky, experimental abstract goo dness with a flair that would have Richard D James standing up and taking notice. The lead cut really grabs us, with its soft, gentle textures contrasting nicely with a distorted i ndustrial break and twisted, mutilated synth trickery. Kero then takes the vibe deeper and more abstract for the remaini ng 3 cuts which will take you back to the days of A13, Black Dog and early Luke Slater stuff- wicked indeed!
