Neotropical is a posthumous collection of works from Colin Ward - one of the integral members of the DIY space Rhinoceropolis in Denver, CO. We offer this collection in loving memory of the life, vision and spirit of Colin Richard Ferguson Ward, 1990-2018. All proceeds will be donated to the 'CRFW Fund' which provides DIY artists’ grants in Colin Ward's name. Neotropical was recorded 2014-2017, but the recordings feel right at home in the future that is 2020. Shape shifting techno / punk rave music / bandpassed alien speech. Smoldering FM synthesis, endlessly spiraling arps and heavily-processed vocoder vocals are meshed together for an album that could thrive on headphones or in the club.
