unknown year reissue, originally released in 1980 - The liner notes say it best: "King Tubby at Channel One, along with Scientist and Crucial Bunny so right now nothing no funny". That translates into killer/militant rhythms, heavy mixing, and extennnnnnnnnnded mixes!!! There are 6 nasty, raw, blazing dub versions as well ("showcase" usually means you get the dub versions). What an album. Female DJ Liza is wickedly talented and her lyrics are not to be messed with!! But wait, there are actually two Liza's on this album (huh?): Beverely Brown and Jakielyn Boland (see what you learn when you read liner notes?). Kojak wrote a nice little story on the back cover - I never knew he started performing under the name Pretty Boy Floyd. This album is a scorcher, and I knew it had to be with that stylish cover art (that's a clean '84 SC he has there, with matching suit). Just a few copies left, don't miss this one! Penitentiary Dub Version will blow away pretty much any dub you can imagine
