While Labradford have been dominating the American underground for a number of years now, Surfers of Romantica have been doing the same in their native Japan. Popularity in Japan, however, continues to elude Labradford and in America, Surfers of Romantica are virtually unknown. Perhaps this record will help these two equally amazing bands gain some attention in each others' respective countries. Eerie Materials artists ENE have unearthed a Labradford rarity from the long out of print Duophonic 10" (the only Labradford track with drums) and provided an inventive remix implementing sounds from various Labradford bootlegs. The Surfers of Romantica side of the record proves that even armed with preset sounds, the band still is able to produce something that no one else could. this is the third released ENE remix of Surfers of Romantica and the only one available in the U.S.
