The latest single from Mr. Lee Fields features two cuts from the his upcoming record, "Faithful Man". Side A, "Your the Kind Of Girl", is a mid tempo song in the style of groups like The Spinners and The Chi-Lites. It tells a tale of a man falling for a girl thats "so fine, so cool, and in control....looking like a centerfold". Lee describes "You're The Kind of Girl" as "a song that honors women because they should be honored. When a person meets that special someone, everything is easy from that point. True love is not a hard thing. When you meet the right person, it just happens." Side B however, tells a different story. "It's All Over But The Crying" is a slow burner with lush strings, hard-hitting drums, and an almost dirge-like feel that perfectly captures the feeling of a relationship gone awry. Lee's opening line in the song best describes the mood, "Dog bites you one time....shame on a dog. Dog bites you over and over....shame on you."
