You know what it's like. You hear a tune somewhere, on a mix or something, and spend the rest of your life looking for it. At least that's the way it usually goes. It's barely been a couple of months since we first heard Cooly G's ace mix for Fact magazine (ok, we know we go on about it pretty much every week) and since then we've been trying to hunt down Martin Kemp's awesome "No Charisma" that features early on in there. We just figured it was a whitelabel or something unreleased, but here it is, freshly delivered on this twelve for the hitherto unknown Blunted Robots imprint. It's a strange beast that sits somewhere between UKF and mutant Garage, complete with a devastating and unforgettable hook and the kind of electronic noises last heard on Autechre's Disengage radio show a good 15 years ago.
