* UPPER LEFT CORNER GOT A BIT CRUNCHED, VINYL MINT*
Phat booming set from Matty G with his much anticipated long player for Argon sure to satisfy a few rumbling bass cravings in the dubstep fraternity. Matty G has provided top class representation for his West Coast dubstep brethren, holding down their finest outlet Argon and forming a small but well assigned set of 12"s that have defined his take on 'step with a G-funked and raving hiphop style. The album is a very useful set for the DJs, kicking out with three instrumental tracks swinging betwixt scratch tools and moody dawn ravers, before introducing a stream of vocal tracks from Ugene, Audio Angel and Luv Fyah. The final plate would have to be our favourite with the tracks featuring vocals from Juakali simply killing it, from the rolling subs on 'Rasta Dem nah run' to the album highlight '80's Crush' with a digi dancehall update with added sub pressure. If you were into the Pinch LP or prefer Loefah style bass nodders over the more up-steppin style - get this on your list!A1 Cuttin' n Scratchin' B1 Saddle Up B2 Summer Solstice C1 Cold Break Ill Featuring - Ugene D1 Jazzy Ways Featuring - Audio Angel D2 Nuff A Dis Featuring - Luv Fyah E1 Don't Wanna Be Featuring - Juakali F1 Rasta Dem Nah Run Featuring - Juakali F2 80's Crush Featuring - Juakali
