Rolling on for Loefah's 81, Mickey Pearce takes a breezier, technoid tack with 'Warm Barzz' following the freaky funk of his 'Instructions' EP. The title cut is lushed out yet driving, marrying crisp ambient chords with a swinging tribal techno groove and stranger cyber-dub FX, whilst 'Stick Fingerprints' explores new age chimes and Gold Panda or OPN-like vocal chops and creamy silicon froth at a slower, shoulder-dropping pace unravelling over 7 minutes of dancefloor dreamstates. There's also a neat pair of Loops to get down, testing out dry drum machine functions in 'W' and mutant, alien grime in 'X'.
