Dope sounds from the evergreen Nightmares On Wax, back with their first album in five years. 'Feelin' Good' is a timeless display of Leeds-bred, Ibiza-bassed George Evelyn's feel for a hook and soulful chuff-on. It's the sort of eclectically wholesome, slow-brewed hotpot your mum or dad (mine loves a bit of NoW) can get down with as easily as your teenaged siblings, always keeping the vibes simmering and positive, but with enough grit and verve to bump the soundsystem soulboys and entice the jazz cats. For this particular album he was inspired by his move to Ibiza and his clubnight out there, 'Wax Da Jam', which plays host to the likes of DJ Shadow and Roots Manuva, and the inimitable sun-blessed vibe of the island. Guest spots from German jazz percussionist Wolfgang Haffner and Zero 7 vocalist Mozez, plus string arrangements from Jazzanova's Sebastian Studnitzky gild NoW's signature soulboy rhythms, ranging from slow-house swagger on 'Luna 2' thru to the subtle electro snap of 'Om Sweet H(Om)e' and the bubbling rudee, 'Now is the Time'.
