Marine electronica’s pioneering siren Oxis releases her new album 'Oxis 8' via Boom Records. Across eight engrossing tracks, Oxis introduces listeners to an ever-growing school of fish friends in the form of previously shared singles “Fingerling,” “Guili,” “Piranha,” and “Fry,” which have received praise from the likes of Pigeons & Planes, Stereogum and more. Continued with 'Oxis 8', this series of eponymous Oxis projects represents a brave endeavour to capture coming-of-age feelings at their most heightened, like lightning in a bottle. That duality of universal emotions, like a shot of adrenaline or salt in a wound, finds its way into Oxis’ music without a flinch.
