Mecca:83, Buscrates 16-bit Ensemble & DistantStarr are Redefinition: a trio consisting of two musician-producers and one emcee. Heavily influenced by classic Brazilian music of the 60's and 70's, Bahia Affair blends elements of bossa percussion with MPC beats and ample Fender Rhodes licks. The narrative is held down by DistantStarr, while Mecca & Crates trade layers of keyboards and synths to flesh out the groove.
The single is backed up by a B-Side music from much hyped Netherlands-based hip hop producer Moods, who adds his own keyboard heavy interpretation of the track.
