Seahawks have been around for a couple of years now, and in that time have amassed an enviable following. 'Invisible Sunrise' is a 'proper album' though, a fine taster of the duo's silken slow-burning charm. It's like a beach house in Ibiza, the sun rising over the sands, rays belting down on naked flesh; you know the deal, and Seahawks probably don't mind being the soundtrack to that. Imagine if someone dug up a load of sleazy disco 12"s, took the B side instrumentals and played them on 33rpm, and you're about there. A refreshing foil to the glut of new age synth records appearing this year, it feels like Seahawks are having fun with their retro fetishism, and that's a good thing indeed.A1 Invisible Sunrise A2 Hot Space A3 Calling Always A4 Fire In The Sky B1 Love On A Mountain Top B2 Catch A Star B3 Crystal Beach B4 New Future Blue
