Fugly fire from Suga Ray Lemon (aka D&B hair-ruffler Saxxon) and Angela Rippin (aka bass chop-slapper luSINda), the pair have cooked up three moments of raw, uncompromising dubstep right here for Gruff's second release. "The Gruffalo" belies its namesake's cuddly characteristics with a scruffy, scuffing bass growl and industrial strength swaggersteps. "The Minatour" is an array of neuro-like basses, all snapping and sniping for our attention while "The Jesus" gets all middy in the riff department while cowbells get slapped and tickled in the background. It's down to Tronic to close the show with "Champion Hound". One for the old school junglists, it's a fitting way to end a ridiculously heavy EP.
